PAID VACANCIES: Seeking Physios and Sports Rehab staff

Ealing Trailfinders 1871 RFC are currently seeking paid Physiotherapists and Sports Rehabilitators to join the club as we embark on the 24/25 season and beyond in London & SE Division Counties 1 Herts/Middlesex.

The club has two paid vacancies:

  1. Weeknight Rehabilitation

  2. Matchday Support

These part-time roles start immediately and continue until April/May 2025.

Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 18:30 – 21:00 at Vallis Way, Ealing, W13 0DD.

Games take place on Saturday afternoons at Vallis Way and across London, Middlesex and Hertfordshire. Occasional evening games are also scheduled.

In addition clinical support opportunities for our Colts (U18s) are also available, taking place on Sundays and Thursdays. Please contact for more information. These roles will require an RFU DBS check.

Weeknight Rehabilitation

To provide assessments, diagnoses, treatments and rehabilitation during training nights for Ealing Trailfinders 1871 RFC.

  • To provide training night support including assessments, diagnoses, treatments.

  • To provide training night strapping, first aid and injury treatment.

  • To maintain accurate records of medical notes.

  • Demonstrate a background working in sport (rugby desirable).

  • Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services.

Qualifications required:

  • BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy/ Graduate Sport Rehabilitation/Sports Therapy.

  • Accreditation with CSP/HCPC/BASRaT/STT or other appropriate governing body.

  • Pitch side first aid/trauma qualification (PHICIS preferred) or willingness to undertake.

Matchday Support

Provide match day strapping / massage and first aid and injury treatment during matches for Ealing Trailfinders 1871 RFC.

  • To provide match day support services including strapping, first aid and injury treatment.

  • To maintain accurate records of medical notes.

  • Demonstrate a background working in sport (rugby desirable).

  • Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services.
